Step 1 — Treat the dog

Natural anti-flea bath

Use a shampoo based on lavender or eucalyptus essential oil. Leave it on for 5 minutes before rinsing. Fleas hate these scents and either flee or die.

After the bath, comb thoroughly with a fine-toothed comb. Dip the comb in soapy water after each pass to drown the fleas.
